The textures really sell it. They are just weathered the right amout.

When I saw the thumbnail I was thinking "Ah, so that's what it really looks like...", then I read that it was your model and looked at the image and thought "Ah... that's bloody good..." As Bill said the textures are weathered just the right amount and the lighting you have there really integrates it well :)

Happened exactly that way for me too. Thought it was the real article and wouldn't have known the difference either.

Not too crazy about the camo pattern, but I love the mesh . . nice work,
the heat exhaust distortion in the second render is great . . .
