Noob AFTER EFFECTS clip

After finally getting my new computer I have been playing around with a whole bunch of new programs, AE being one of them. This started out as a copy of an Optical Flares tutorial video. It's the second thing I have made using after effects, and the first thing worth posting :p

I made the star background in photoshop, and the Vergil icons and the Halo logo were made in illustrator.
Creds to Nasa for the 8k moon texture and Video Copilot for their amazing optical flares plugin :D Music is from the tv show LOST, composed by Michael Giacchino, the genius :p


The vids I'm posting are 960x412 - 19,6 MB and 1920x823 - 52,9 MB. 36 seconds long, took 3 mins to render.

That turned out lovely. It's very stylish in the opening before the sun slips behind the moon.

Thank you :) I added quite a bit of "lens dirt" to the flares so they would look at least a little less fake.
