View Full Version : Recreating a very famous logo, 65 million years in the making.

Okay so this didn't take 65 million years to recreate, more like 50+ hours, but still :rolleyes:

So I saw Jurassic Park at the movies back in '93 and it forever changed my life. I was 9 years old at the time and I really thought they had recreated dinosaurs :p at least until they aired some behind the scenes stuff on TV later that year. That's when I got really interested in the field of "computer generated images". Fast forward 200 years to last year lol I got my hands on Adobe's Illustrator for the first time. After seeing what you can do with it I thought that it would be the perfect program to use to create a replica of one of my favorite logos of all time. and so here it is....


It's of course not 100% accurate since the pictures on the web isn't all that great, quality wise. Tried scanning my JP OST cd cover but.. too low res really.

The three most common version(my personal favorite is by far the red one):
