I just feel like doing something in color pencils, something rich in color and textures...let's hope it comes out as I want...

Colour me impressed(see what I did there? ;) ). I certainly can't achieve anything like that kind of realism with coloured pencils.

I cannot even begin to fathom how one would do this with coloured pencils. It looks superb. By the way, if I know Bill, that was post was a precurser to your membership car in the 'People Bill Hates List' :)
Great work, looking forward to seeing it finished.

Thank's everyone for your comments!! I really appreciate the support! For how much does it take to do it... let's see... I've been doing it while at work, so I can't focus totally on it, so I am advancing really slow, plus the fact that as much as I am progressing I am getting more restless and a bit scared of messing the whole thing, color pencils are not too forgivable, if you screw up you can not just apply a coat of white and try again like with acrylic paints, so I think I'll have it done by early next week... maybe a bit sooner...if everything goes ok..

This is different--don't worry, that's different good from me. I don't usually go for these type of images, as those that know me can attest, but it's great work nonetheless.

See now its stuff like this that makes me think that I should take a stab at drawing and colouring again. Problem is that it usually takes a lot LESS time to discover that I still can't do either....
