Looks good so far, the maps are a little flat but I imagine you're still working on those. This is one of my all time favorite planes.

Nice mesh of a beautiful plane you have there.. the B-17 is my favorate ww2 bomber, if not aircraft all over.. the only major problems I can see are as mentioned that the textures are 'flat' it really needs bump, spec work on the main stuff.. the paint chipped up and dirty and the glass needs a major tweek i'd actually suggest custom maps on them...

The reason for that is the nose gun especially on a B-17 got extreamly dirty, both from take off and from flak this is really visable in the 'spec' and transperancy part of the window.. what is there.. just looks..... I don't know wrong.

Please don't take me as picking I do understand that your still working on the textures, I'm just offering suggestions.. and comments :-)

Looking very respectable. The bump maps need some tweaking too, they are just a tad too obvious. But it's comming along very nicely.

A nice trick is to use your panel line bump maps as an alpha to your "dirt" layer and if you put it over a nice procedural bump as an alpha again, it will make the skin ripple for you but hold it steady where the riveted panels are ;)
