My apartment

Hello!
It's been a while since my last post, it seems that i'm never gonna have my postcount up and high :)
Anyway, i've been debating whether to put this on finished art forum or to the w.i.p. Some of you may remember early wip of this from lwg. It is a model from my house, here in Helsinki. Walls, doors etc have accurate measurements, but I don't have that kind of luxory TV :) Background image is also just taken from that balcony. I have entire apartment ready, this is a view from livingroom.

It's been quite diffucult to texture and light those black fabric parts, so please any commet to help me with it. In scene these's one area light coming outside and two pointlights with one pointlight is not affecting the walls. So tell my if i did something totally wrong :)
But I decide to put it here 'cause otherwise i'm never going to have anything ready and i'm needing some pictures to show my skills to some companies where i'm sending cv.

My crit would be that the curtains and plants are pickable as CG, whereas the rest of it is incredibly realistic. I don't know why or how to fix this, unfortunately, but it's just something I noticed!
Also there's something not quite right about the foremost speaker... Can't place it, but it looks kinda as if it wasn't square...

May not have a high post count but you have quality posts. Nice work, I saw the thread yesterday but didn't have time to look until today. I do concur with Mooks comments.

I think its the grain on the speakers thats making it look off. Its top to bottom on the side and back to front on the top. The plants look like they have to much translucency on them. Its giving them a plastic feel. Nice place though. How big is the TV :)

Terrific image. I wish I could create models.

I think with the curtains that part of it is the length. If I had curtains in a spot like that they would be longer. The other thing is the drape, curtains hang differently.
