G'Day and sorry to ask, using LW10.1 still, but anyway, need to drop a large quantity of objects, each 4 poly leaves, onto ground objects, like soil, water.
Is there an easy method please to drop them onto a specific placement / point of the lower object, without individually placing them there, one by one by one by one and ............
Thanks.

What I did before getting LW with heatshrink (11.5)

Create the points where I want the leaves to be. I used a top view, just interested in the x and z coordinates of the points. Sometimes I copied points of the ground mesh (with this technique even you won't need any plugin). If random I used spray points and later I deleted those not necessary points.

Move up those points a bit far away from the mesh

Use some of these plugins (http://lightwavebox.blogspot.com.es/2011/05/addmove-points-on-background-using.html) to place the points over the surface

Then use point clone tool and your leaf model to place the leaves.

You can use Ultimate Clone by Mike Green (http://lightwavebox.blogspot.com.es/2014/02/mg-ultimate-clone_9.html) mixing it with the previous techniques

Look for the thread in the tricks and tutorials forum about Clone+. It does a wonderful job of copying an object onto as many points as your processor and RAM can handle.

HeatPress plugin (32bit only), that's the plugin on which is Heatshrink (native in 11.5+) is based on ;).
