G'Day tp everyone.
Question please. Have photoshop 7 on a 64 bit system with Lw10, have a newly scanned 35mm transparency in tiff format at 480MB.
The file can be edited in tiff and psd no problem, however I may need to save it in JPG format, this is where photoshop says that there is insufficient memory for that to occur.
I have a 24GB Ram available and a 1GB video card.
Done some searches but unable to determine if there is a PS7 limitation in there.
Thanks and appreciate the help.

Hmmm , have you tried save it to another format like PNG or PSD and see if it works ?

And from there try to convert to jpg ??

PS 7 really demands a lots of resources from the machine .

here are a link for jpg format specifications in ps.

Are you saving the jpg after flattening? I have sometimes forgot to do that and it could be an issue.
