Have you ever wonder why aliens abduct cows?
Jamukha is a space traveler, weightlessness causes fragile bones, so he needs a lot of calcium, and where do you get calcium?

Here’s a pseudo “Got Milk” ad I did using purely Adobe illustrator, the idea came from a friend of mine, I told him I was doing a Got Milk digital painting and he asked if it’s about Alien, I said “no, but it’s a good idea”.

In this vector artwork I have applied all the techniques I know in Adobe Illustrator and soon I’ll be posting a small tutorial about it in my site.

Cheers!

I'd love to see it to. I suck at Illustrator beyond basic load and export of .eps files. Excellent image and the back story just makes it that much funnier :)

Thanks Rodny,
I really enjoyed the tutorial. Illustrator is one of those apps that I can get around in, but don't have the advanced know-how like you do. I really was impressed by how versatile the mesh gradient fill tool is and the neat sub-surface and structural effects that you can get with it.

Very nice work and a fantastic tutorial. Thanks again.

Okay, this tears it. When I came here, I was thinking about posting some of my own work, as I am more of a 2d artist rather than a 3d one...but there's no way in the world I'm going to embarrass myself. This work is absolutely amazing.

I'm glad you posted this tutorial. Hopefully, I'll be able to learn something...

It is a beautiful and fun image and your skills in illustrator are most impressive! I'd love to check out the tutorial but (and I don't know if you're aware of this) Google's interceding and giving me some very scary warnings about visiting your site.
