Soon, we will be starting the Ad Libitum Challenges. You will be given an idea or theme, and a set amount of time to show everyone just how creative your mind can be :) This will be open to anyone that uses any of the 3D programs that we use here in the Foundation 3D pipeline. Sketches and photographs may be used in the 3D applications but can't be submitted alone. Any addons you can use with your application are allowed. :) The goal is first and foremost to have fun, and to use areas of your applications that you may not have used before. It will also be nice to show people what you are capable of. More information will come soon. Get your thinking caps on and get ready to have fun. ;)

Well fellow modelers and renderer's. I have talked with Bob and with the fantastic talents of Rigel to co-direct the events to come with me The Ad Libitum Challenges are about to begin... (Fanfare and flashes of Pointy Sticks sizzle in the air) :tu:
To begin, We would like to say to everyone that this is a great opportunity to show off or just start the basics of your skills. Whether you have been here since the beginning or just yesterday, the members of Foundation3D would like to see your stuff... We know that everyone has their strong, and not so strong points to the programs that they use. We hope you will explore all the levels of every program in your arsenal to come up with outstanding works of art and become stronger with your skills as you progress. Remember as well that Foundation3D is a place for members to become friends and learn from one another. So if you have questions or are stuck and need help JUST ASK. Some projects may require (If you choose) to team up with a friend or stranger to work on different parts of a project to get it in on time. If you are familiar with the resource challenge that Bob is hosting, this event will run much the same way... You will be given the IDEA and a time limit to get your work in. After the time limit, members of Foundation3D (Your peers) will have the chance to vote on all the works presented... So, get your thinking caps on and we will kick her into gear in a few days. We will post the rules at the start of the event. Remember to have fun, be creative and knock out those ideas!
Talk to you soon Rigel & DELTA

Same here. It will be interesting to see all the variations we will get on an idea... It will be neat to see the environments that everyone builds. I hope we don't see objects just floating in space... Unless they are supposed too..lol
