I often get asked why my bird photos have a blurred background. Some people even asked why I've changed or erased the background. The Canon 500 IS L prime lens has a real shallow depth of field and gives a very desired blurred background, also known as bokeh. This background is a hay field. center focus was on the right shoulder of the Swallow.
