How does one go about making an anodized texture in Lightwave. Its kind of a satin finish with a slight glow to it.

Also I'm searching for a Brass Texture

There is nothing much to it.. Set up the metal with spec and gloss to preference, Add some reflectivity and on the Advanced tab play with the Color Highlights setting. Start at 50% and work it up or down to get the look your after. Brass is basically the same just an orange/red color. Depending on the brass some reflection blurring can help it a lot to.

Depends on the exact look you're going for. Something along these lines?
