A few of the older, long time LW'ers will recognize this, I think.

Idon't know if he updated the process, but you'd be amazed to know how it was done in the Amiga days...

Despite the processing power I have now I _still_ jones occasionally over using LW3 on a 68030 A1200 with a normal CRT TV - interlace headaches! Might buy one just for the retro fun :D

heh...
I remember my old trusty Tower 3000 with SCSI CDand Hard drives, Retina Z3 24 bit graphics card, GenLock, the Mac Emulator with the Mac Plus ROMS, and a Bridgeboard. I stuffed the BIATCH with ZIP ram too... :D
Hated to let go of her with all the fond memories, but I decided I'd rather see someone get use out of her than sit in the closet corner rusting.
Lightwave 3.1 was a dream on that Retina video card. I replaced it with an NT PC using Lightwave 4.0 Intel. At work I used a DEC Alpha Raptor with NT and LW 4.0 and it was equiped with a Perception PVR.
*sigh* the memories... :)
