Gnomon Release - Mental Ray Production Practices

This morning Gnomon Workshop released Mental Ray Production Practices DVD for $79.

Just looking at the sample clip already I think for any Maya / Mental Ray user this could be worth the cash (hell the info about a node that sticks chamfered edges on objects during render time rather than having to model them has helped me out today)

Anyway, Gnomon DVD's are usually worth the cash IMHO and if you're interested in seeing Mental Ray used effectively in a production set up I'd say check it out :tu:

I wish they coud do a DVD and show some awesome render tutorial with LW9.6 G.i and Radiosity engine .

ahh round edges. Its been part of mental ray since 3.2 I think it came in. I haven't used it but it does look cool.
