Request: Addition of Wings3D

Hello.

Fantastic website you guys have here. The format is pleasing, the rules are simple, the upload utility rocks... and you should feel lucky to have such a great community.

Now with the inappropriate amounts of ego-stroking out of the way...

I noticed Wings3D was not on the list of apps. It'd be absolutley ridiculous to expect every single one to be on there, especially with the extra time involved creating logos and coding out the parameters, I understand. However, Wings3D to many is the gateway drug of the 3D world. It's still active, and has a great group of guys pumping out plugins for it. Easy to learn, easy to use, and there are quite a few people who still use it for their prototyping. I think it'd be a fine addition to the list of apps, and would ask you to consider it.

I hope I'm not horrifically overstepping my bounds here, but I went ahead and took the liberty of creating an icon.

I must confess, Wings 3D has been my gateway drug to 3D modeling and thus far all I have used!

I'll put it on the list, we've had a couple of requests but I need to have our resident VB coder add them since the script is a bit finicky.

Hmm . . . I might have to take a look at Wings. I tried it briefly years ago and just haven't gotten around to looking at it lately.
