Glass, Refractions,and Caustics - Oh My!
Here's your chance to play with glass. From the glass you put your whiskey into to a glass city in the clouds...
Rules:
Original works for this one, only new models made for this contest by you...
Addition:
Other resource models can be used as scene fillers, but main theme objects must be new and yours... And as always, Give credit for any other models used...
Stills and animations welcome.
Minimum Resolutions
Stills 1024x768
Animations 800 x 600
codecs: DivX or Quicktime please
Entries must be submitted by Midnight November 30th

Does that glass HAVE to be like that clear white color or can it be colored glass? (runs fast) Can you out run a glass bullet?:p

Congrats Delta, Prophecy was always my choice for a dumb, but sturdy assault ship :) And your pic is really creative :D

Anything that would have properties like glass.. Reflective water, Ice, mirrors things like that all fit in to this IDEA...

Here's mine. The bottle is mine. The label is clipped from a product image of the real liquor - I couldn't figure out how to put a label of my own on the bottle before rendering it, so I ended up adding one after. The image of Bill Murray is a screen capture from the movie "Lost In Translation." I didn't actually know there was a real Suntory whiskey until I went looking for images from the movie online. Not quite what I had in mind, but given the limitations of time and my knowledge, I'm actually quite happy with it.
