I found this site here:

http://www.modelermagic.com/?cat=302

Has images of EVERY battlestar ship design Zoic made up until the end of season 2. so the entire rag-tag fleet, galactica, pegasus, blackbird, raptors, you name it, it's all there. Even a Viper Mark XIII that was slated for use in the series by Zoic and never actually used.

Has anyone see this before? Are these images really legit? they seem to be, and frakking high quality too.

Kinda makes me want to reinstall LW 9.5 and go nuts on a few ship designs.

Are these images really legit?

legit in what sense? that particular site aggregates screen caps and publicity renders as well as other reference images. They don't originate any of their own content as far as I can tell.

Legit as in, are they real renders from Zoic? I guess is what I'm saying.

And as far as i can tell, the only screencaps that are there are one or two in the Pegasus section, the rest are orthos and public release shots. Higher quality then i've ever seen and a tonne of ones i didnt even know Zoic released online!

Yes, many of them seem to be real publicity renders released by zoic at various times over the course of the first two seasons. Some (many in fact) are also lifted from Fabio's (http://www.foundation3d.com/index.php?categoryid=41&p2_articleid=24) site, complete with watermark:where:

yea, i noticed the ones from Fabios site, and teh Viper 2s are from Gabe Koeners site too.

Some of those images i do recognize from the BSG 2003 site that Zoic put up back in... well, 03. but the pegasus ones i dont recognize in particular, and i remember scouring the web for them back when season 3 AND season 4 started.

Where did Zoic release all their publicity photos too? were they just to news sites or did they put them on on their homepage or something? I could never figure out where they were coming from.
