I'm still working on this.
The Original basic model was constructed by Sean Robertson. It had a few inacurate points. There was a second Turbo lift to the right of the main view screen, which I have removed and corrected. The viewscreen was too widescreen, and also some of the switches and controls are still too near the edge of the panels. I'm working on these. I have started adding new Textures and also building the Turbolift. I've added a few computer displays. I will need to replace the grid effect shadow, that falls on the doors, as the pattern is too large. However, I hope it is starting to get there.

Pretty close to the original. I especially like the use of gobos on the lights for the lift doors - even if too large. Some tweaking of the shaders and you are close to done with it, I guess.

Nice work conversion and otherwise. You've done a good job of improving on the original.

Thanks. I'm still trying to get the Trek Moire right on Mr Spocks station. I know how its achieved, but just can't get it perfect yet. If anyone has a gif or avi, or knows where I can download one, it would speed things along.

the captain's chair looks like it's a bit to sharp, lit it could use a bit of rounding on the edges

Looks like they need to move the patterns apart a bit, but...

Having two turbolifts depends on what you're after. Sean originally added the second lift because the Animated Series had it, not because it was inaccurate :)

Are, got ya! No deformation on his modeling skills I can assure you.
I didn't realize it was based on the animated version. I just altered it to look nearer the Classic TV version.:)

Not bad. Thought that looked familiar and then saw the text in the post. Please add credits to the images themselves (as they often get snagged by other people and posted elsewhere, sadly).

The second tube life was based on the animated series and Franz Joseph's book. I also did a version without it, and I think both were actually included in the original trueSpace release (though one or the other might have been hidden).

As far as I'm aware, only one has ever been done, but I'm not sure by who...

Yeah .....
got the model from a free download and put it into a Poser file.....without corrections or even much shifting around was more interested in getting characters together..... Here's the result......I am continuing to work on a conversion that fits the Poser format....

Mylochka gets most of the credit for figures...hair.....

I've always loved the grill-lighting over the turbo doors

Here is the TOS Transporter room, for those interestead. I think I have an animation on here somewhere showing it in action. Anyway here is a still image. I'm only a begginer at modeling compared to most of you on here. So don't expect perfection. I've included Cpt Kirk and Mr Spock. These were converted poser bodys and the heads were modeled using Genhead.http://www.foundation3d.com/uploads/studio/2008/03/440-24-350926_tn.jpg (http://www.foundation3d.com/uploads/studio/2008/03/440-24-350926.jpg)
