B5/X3mod models

Hi, because of the amount of models i made and make for our B5mod i will show all my models in this Thread.
So i don't have to start a new one for every ship or station.



Today i found that the Polycounter of C4D doesn't work correct if symmetry objects are in the scene. The Counter shows a bigger number of polygons than there are.
So i have to overwork most of my models and add more details.^^

I started with my Centauristation today.
It has 16906 quad polygons now.

Ahh that's quite a cool progression from the station we see in the series. Even if we only see it for about 2 seconds :p
Nice work! Your Minbari models were great, I remember, so I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I think it is Babylon 5, an old series about a space-station, which was quiet good

Babylon 5. Was aScifi show. the first with all CG visual effects using Lightwave. Way back 14 years ago. It's what got me interested in learning Lightwave.

AD = After Domination

TXU and AD are big modding communities.

We have a thread in the german and english Ego forum for X3scripts and moding.
Sadly our threads in the english and german forums have drifted a long way down the forum pages.

Here are my Vorlon models:

The fighter has around 5k polys.

I made some non canon ships, because we need more ships for the mod.^^

Ok, i added some details to the balvarin.
Around 30k polygons now. (triangular)

And a pic of my Ipsha Warglobe.

I'm still not sure of the design of this one, never was 100%, but the model looks nice and tidy :)

Yes, there a just a few scenes with it, in just one episode.
My first model has too much "arms" for example.^^

Well i totally agree.
I think it doesn't really fit the centauridesign. But now it's "canon" so i have to build it for the mod. (But not without a few modifications ;) )

Ok, here is a test for the ship size of the Neroon and the Morshin. I have to check the Hangar size too.^^
(The Neroon in this pic has not the newest Version of the texture)

Sorry, i don't know who made the Sharlin model! Mabye someone can tell me his name.

This Vorchan is a co-operation of Lc4Hunter and me.

It has 18284 polys.

The "nose" isn't perfect but after 3 trials and hours of work i gave it up to start a new one.^^

You have to admit though, for 14 years ago they really raised the bar in what computer generated graphis could achieve.
