Blakes 7 Liberator

So after my comment on GMD3D's thread...

"The Liberator is one of those designs I've always wanted to have a go at myself but I wouldn't have a clue where to start with that engine, I suspect that shape is not as easy as it may look"

I started thinking about how I would tackle it and then did some experimenting and got a result I was quite happy with which surprised me. Anyhow long story short, having made the engine I decided to make the rest too.

Obviously this is not 'screen accurate' but is my own interpretation of the original design. Also this may well be the first time I have actually built a model to a stage that I'm happy to call 'finished'.

I want to but I need to do a proper UV unwrap first so that I can get rid of render time AO calculations. The trouble is I suck at UV unwrapping and I'm really struggling with it.

Basically, watch this space, I'll get there eventually.
