I decided to replace my old 2K Hazro monitor for a new 4K Dell - it's only 24" (23.8" to be precise), but on the desk it looks bigger than I thought. I had hoped to get a smallish 4K TV, but the smallest I could get was 40"... WAY too big for the desk:

I tried to hook up the XBOX One S via the HDMI port on the Dell in the hope of using it to play 4K UHD discs, but it completely refused to upscale beyond 1080p - used the cable that came with the XBOX, plus the other high-speed cable from the Panasonic, but no joy. I was about to give up, then I decided to try hooking up the Panasonic... SUCCESS! 4K UHD playback on this diminutive Dell screen is really quite impressive!

I know it's a small display that lacks HDR, but I'm very happy with it. I just wish the monitor came with a full set of cables, so will have to source a Display Port lead after work tomorrow.

If anyone is interested in taking my old monitor off my hands, and can collect it from my place, please feel free to have a look on ebay:

P. S. - When I connected the Panasonic to the monitor, I decided to install the XBOX in it's place underneath the Samsung TV... As far as I can tell, the HDR playback is almost indistinguishable from the Panasonic. Not bad for a sub-£200 console!
