Default Star Trek - DS9 The Jem'Hadar

Hi
Watching some DS9 again lead to the creation of this image.
The textures on the Odyssey are from a Star Trek Bridge Commander Mod. I would gladly release the mesh in its current state but was unable to contact the owner of these textures.
At first there was no backgroud but that didnt really turn out well so i took a nebula image(it think its the eagle nebula) and altered it to fit the scene.
I am not too sure about the colors i hope their not too vivid. I hope its to your liking

Nice image! I've been playing Star Trek Online the past month and I've beaten down a few of those ships.

First off, I love this image. It is superb. That said, there are two area's which catch my eye as not being quite on par with the overall quality of the composition.

The first point has to do with the white sparks coming off the nacelle. Maybe it's just me, but they seem a bit to big. Smaller sparks more densely concentrated, or no sparks at all would, in my opinion, look better.

Secondly, and this is more just personal opinion, the placement of the phaser beam off the galaxy class would look better if it were shifted to starboard a bit, so it isn't cutting across the Odyssey as much.

Those are the only two issues I saw with the image. It really is first rate. Oh, and this just occurred to me, you might consider "turning off" the damaged nacelle.

Once again, a beautiful image, I only wish you could release the ship

Naw. The photo was shot before the nacelle had time to die.

Thx for your feedback

About the sparks i tried to stick to what was visible in the original scene of that episode which included these sparks but ill have a look at it same goes for the placement of the phaser beam.
Oh and the nacelle it was flickering on and off in the original. I could lower its glow by 50% that would be a good compromise
About the ship yes i wish that too but from what i have seen in the WIP section theres another textured galaxy in the works which will be better than the one i am using now.
