Default Fusion 6 for a reasonable cost?

For those of you that may be interested.

eyeon were willing to offer reasonable price to me for Fusion 6. I had to provide a quick letter to my reseller saying that I would be using it for non-commercial work and picked it up for $995 with a year of updates etc.

I still have fusion 5 installed somewhere... I hardly ever used it and now that I have XSI, I do any comp work there.
I know what you mean, Bill. Pondered over this fusion deal for over a year.

With the offer they had out there it was far cheaper to buy Fusion than most 3D apps...by in some cases a couple thousand.

The only kicker, I guess, would be the non-commercial stipulation. While I don't have an official business or anything, I do have freelance opportunities pop up now and again, and I know I'm not the only one.

Sure...that could raise an internal debate. I'm a hobbyist, and while I'd love to be 'in' the business I'm not and had the cash at the right time.

I'd may even appreciate it being a kicker in a few years time!

When I bought mine there was no "commercial" use restriction.
I picked it up for $1000.
