We got a reply from one of the companies I had contacted for prizes today and they have agreed to provide a prize. Shapeways (http://www.shapeways.com/) will provide $100.00 towards a 3D print.

I dunno - $100 won't go far towards the cost of a 1:1 Earth Force Destroyer...

Option one: Take a photo of it to enter in this months photo challege.
Option two: Sit in it and make very fast spaceship noises.
Option three: Go "Nyer Nyerr! I've got one and you haven't" to all other F3d users.
Option four: Mail it to Elon Musk of SpaceX, to see if he could stick some real rocket engines in it.

Since an Earthforce destroyer is just over 1.7 km long (at least the Omega is) a 1:1 model would be big enough to fit all us Foundation3Ders in, and we could all make "Nyer Nyerr" noises

Of course the main problem would be where to put the darned thing, you're gonna need one hell of a garden shed to keep it in.

I live near Lake Eerie, we could dock it in Port Stanley.

Don't be silly - such things should always be hung from the bedroom ceiling, using a mix of inappropriate cotton thread colours swiped from your mum.

Yes they did!

The judging took place on Minbari Prime in the year 2263. I suggest you buy a time lock from your local Zokalo, or contact your species ambasador to the Minbari.

Good luck!

G'Nick

Yes, though according to my manager I am a huge number two.
Does that count?

Uhm... all I can say is work has kept me extremely swamped. Shouldn't take me long as soon as I can be at the same computer as the information is one.
