Good stuff - but the direction of spray makes me think it got dirty going backwards?

It makes sense assuming the tires on this thing are very good at holding the dirt until it's carried to the top of the wheel. But that tread wouldn't do it. I suspect those tires would actually throw very little dirt and the spray would come from very close to the bottom.

Way back in 06 I did some ships that were from a graphic novel I made way back in 94, the novel was called Maxum Dawn. (The novel was never published btw.) In any case, I was bored yesterday and started redoing one of the ships, the ship was called The Elixer. Well without getting too much into all the back story, it was basically a former military gun ship, that had been purchased and converted into a cargo ship by a smuggler by the name of Lairah Combes. She and her two brothers Maxum Dawn and William Cobalt each had ships and were partners in their ventures. But the thing about it was, was that the original Elixer wouldn't work as a cargo ship, as there was no real place to put cargo. So, I'm redoing it, along with the original novel... I may even publish it this time.
The first image is the original Elixer, the rest, you know. |

Need to redo the feet, as well as the hip joints. Then I'll get started on it's outer armor.
Tell me what you think? |

These are great mesh's, I don't know how I missed this thread. Did you finish the refinery? If you ever decide to release any of these mesh's let me know, they would go great in a scene I'm working on now. Great job!

Unwarapping it now, but I think these materials are okay. Execpt maybe for the mini gun's barrels.
@ lonewriter: Thanks, and no my friend, I haven't finished the refinery, I had to redo it because I'd lost the original years ago. As for releasing them, send me a list of the one you're interested in and I'll see which ones I can let go of. Some of them are for special projects. |

Coming to life nicely now.
The wear and tear on the paintwork seems a bit extreme though... |

Here's an idea for a typical military image. This thing is parked somewhere in the bright afternoon sun and there's the driver sitting on top of it, in a lawn chair, with an umbrella up for shade and a cold beer in his hand. In Hawaiian shorts and sun glasses.

![]() It looks good. I can see the "tubes" on the radiator(?) are probably square, but it's very effective. Oddly enough, when you put the plate over it, it ends up looking like rows of coil springs behind the openings. |

Thanx Rigel, appriciate it much... I'm gonna end up redoing that radiator eventually, but for the time being I think I'll leave it as is. But I see what you mean about the coil springs thing. Thanx again.
Got bored Folks, I'm planning on integrating the mech into the Citadel's universe. This one and at least another mech I'm starting work on soon. |

Ha! The sight of those 'monsters' behind those 'barricades' makes me chuckle. Not a bad thing BTW.
