Just talk to Trump - he'll put out any amount of money (or get others to, preferably) if you just let him put his name on it.

Tan.j I have NEVER been a fan of the VF-1A head, until now. You actually managed to make it look pretty cool. Excellent!

In contrast, I have favored only the VF-1A head from 25 years ago

I began to add parts required for the GERWALK mode to my VF-1A. Their parts would be added to my VE-1 or others too.

@BillS and Mikala

Updated root parts of arms, which is required for transformation. Though their shape and size are different from those in original design drawings, I finally gave up realizing a way shown in the drawings

Nice clean renders - they show off your work and suit the subject matter very well!

Thanks Starbase1
I frequently use radiosity with the interpolated mode for rendering this kind of images, and now I can get images of the same quality in shorter time, nearly 1/3, by using a rendering engine of LW11!

Hands (manipulators?) are modeled at last

Excellent!
Have you any plans to model any of their opponents?

I will build models of "Reguld" Battle Pods, if once I decided to make a very short animation based on an idea that I have

The VF-1S's head has been a bit dull for me, simply because its design was a kind of standard one of '80s in Japan. We could see similar design here and there on various screens at that time. I and my friends called it (modernized) Gort, a robot in the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951)"

Default With all due respect

.... to Mr. Shoji Kawamori et. al., I would almost hazard to guess that the original designers of this beautiful airframe didn't know *exactly* what it looked like when they created it.

Tan, you have really shown us all what this air/spacecraft is *supposed* to look like.

My english vocabulary isn't large enough to express how thoroughly impressed I am with your work, and I've been speaking it for over 40 years. But if I were to try, the word I might use would be:

wow.

These are amazing -- love how you reworked the arms for the change-over, and really like the subsequent updates. Just some great work, period.
