They represent famous groups of people. For example the first one is certain yellow family from Springfield.

No idea about the one on the bottom right. Not positive about the pair on the left, next to the bottom. I think they might be a certain pair of ancient Frenchmen?

All but 2 the left second from bottom and the bee stripes on the bottom right. Thought upper right I could be off on. Really depends on region and era I think that one could get them all.

Well, they're relatives ... the three little ones are nephews with similar-sounding names, and I do believe the uncle wears a sailor hat and blouse.

If you were a kid anytime from the 80's until now, anywhere in the English-speaking world ... then you should probably recognize them. Fun fact: the guys who created them are from the next town over from me, although a few years older. I had a friend a couple years old who went to school with them.

The last one in the lower right has to be lucky cowboy and a certain bunch of brothers who are constantly up to no good.

I have to say as a kid of the 80s I never heard of them. Maybe cause it dealt with cowboys and such I tuned it out and or never paid any attention to it. :shrug

Did google things and found something and some even older somethings that are a bit obviously related. I only recognize the art style.

Second from bottom in the right column was the most difficult one for me, I couldn't remember their names at first.
