Man there is so much to like about this... Its the little details like the bumps on the wall, and the beams. Its a little to noisy for my personal taste but that's more me. A couple things look odd to me but I'm about as far from an expert on the period as you can get but...
Shouldn't the spinning wheel have a foot pedal to make it spin and wasn't there a belt that went around the big wheel to the front part? The bench... ish thingy on the left against the wall. Shouldn't it have a backrest? Just more curious than anything. |

The noise is the only thing I would like to see refined. Noise is nice to break up the perfectness, but as a post, it looks more like render noise at the moment, but that minor quibble aside, this is lovely work

thank you all very much for your feedback, great to hear you like it.
@ inVoxel: Yes I rendered the image with native LW renderer, But before I tested the scene with maxwell render and then I tried to get the same mood in lw. @BillS: I´m not really sure about the footpedal, but it´s possible that I just forgot to do it. The bench on my reference photo (took the pictures in a openair museum near Hamburg, Germany) has no backrest, but ofcourse also here it´s possible that it´s not 100% historical correct. But my main goal for this image was more to produce a good lighting, not to do everything very detailed or authentic. I´m at this moment working on another big medieval project wich will be historical correct (proofed by real specialists of history), and its fun to do everything 100% like it was in the past. But for this image, I just wanted to render something old and beautiful, improving my lighting and having some fun. But thanks alot for your suggestions. |

Please don't think that I was trying to detract from it... those were just things that looked odd to me. The render itself is fantastic.
Oh and sign me up to take a peek at your current project then. That sounds fantastic. |

Everyone has made this month's selections extremely difficult. I could have chosen any one of about two dozen images for front-page slots. Congrats on being one of them!
