Default New Member Moderation

Due to all the BS advertising threads I had locked down new member registration. From now on new members have to be approved before posting. I hope this keeps our forums clean and reduces the load on the staff. Don't really like playing this kind of game but not sorry about it either. If you have friends wanting to join just let them know we are doing this to get rid of the crap not to discourage new members.

I think it's a good idea. And I think you'll have a pretty easy time figuring out which accounts are legit. Most of the ones I've seen lately had pretty obviously randomly-generated usernames, so anything that seems like a normal username should be good to go.

It should not affect your account if you are just making changes to your email, password, etc.

Yeah, for the international space art network, I found the single most effective thing I could do was simply make them wait a few days!
