Default Star Trek - Kirk Pike Discovery

MY goal is a still or short movie based on the end of the last episode in Season one of DSC. I will be starting with Chris Kuhn's version and modifying it. I will need help as I have not modeled in about 10 years, and LW 2018 is different from LW 9 and 10.

been away from home, and I could not run LW 2018. Making some minor changes to see how it looks. Still tempted to replace the struts and nacelles.

How do I take a tapered cylinder(nacelle) and remove the tapering?

There is a tool which allows you to select points (I think) and then you can resize them according to the local normal. It's been almost 2 years since I was in Lightwave so I can't remember it exactly. It would be on the transformation menu. I thing that's what you want.

Sorry for the delay, Rigel. I have problems connecting to this site.
I will check that menu when I am home.

Not very satisfied on the nacelle changes.. Any opinions on if I just should replace the struts and nacelles by the TOS ones?

switched to the newer model by Marc Bell. Will need to adjust the lighting before starting.

Not a lighting problem, but the Disco surfaces are mostly principled BSDF. Might have to revert to standard to get it to look the way I want. Opinions?
