Default SciFi - Space Intruder Detector

Some finished renders of my latest project.

I plan on releasing it once I have tidied things up a bit, I'll also probably add some more renders in the near future.

Very much appreciated, Nick. Speaking as someone who tried to model a sphere and it came out with 6 flat sides, I'm always staggered by the generosity of the artists who allow their art to be used by the rest of us who can't model. Thank you!

You are very welcome - I just hope I see it used in lots of images!

I don't say thanks to those who release models enough so let me start correcting that here. Thanks Nick, very cool of you.

I have a basic one rendered and ready to compile... Not sure how far I will take them, but with the Interceptor conversion already underway, and a UFO available in the resources...

Brilliant modelling and rendering... Brings back some great memories though I remember being creeped out by UFO as a kid.

I removed the files from download because I was seriously fed up with people who never gave a word of thanks, or showed what was done with the models.

While I am happy for those who have the model to carry on using it, it is completely unacceptable to pass my files round.

And I'd have said exactly the same when the file was available, as I saw it as a way of supporting F3D by encouraging people to become full members

HI Nick,

I can completely understand where your coming from and if I had created something as epic as this version of SID I would like a little gratitude for my hard work (as from the detail I can see from the pictures I have seen of it, a lot of hard work and many hours of research has gone in to making it).
The reason I am looking for a SID at the moment is that I am creating a monthly animation series for YouTube which is both a showcase for me to show off my VFX and editing skills and also add to the legacy of all things, Anderson, now I currently am about to premiere episode 2 in the next week or so and I am working on Episode 3 and looking to make section about it focused on UFO and SHADO, I have all the models which I basicly need for the video but I am missing a SID and although it's possible to work it out of the footage, it would be amazing to have it in there, So I ask, two things of you, firstly how do you become a full and paid up member of the site? and secondly, would you be interested in working with me over the private Messinger to try and sneak SID in? (with both a full credit to you in the credits and adding you to the list of special Thanks)
But of course, if this isn't possible then fair enough and I thank you from the bottom oif my heart as at the very least you have already given me my new favourite wallpaper for my tablet

Cheers
Andrew

Sorry Nick,

I assumed it was down because of site problems. I'll not share it if that's what you want.
