Default Misc - Range Murata's BMW Drive

I Just love Range Murata's work, simply beautiful; that's why I decided to try to re make one of his illustrations in 3D.
For this project I chose the first frame of his manga "BMW drive" and started with the bike, a BMW R25 produced in the early fifties, it took me like 2 weeks to finish the model, I couldn't find any blue prints so I did it only based on photos found on the web, however I paid a lot of attention to the detail, and I think is quite accurate. Right now I am working in the characters.
here I post some pictures so you can see and critique, Thanks!

Holy crap, that's brilliant! Looking forward to seeing this progress!
One crit (and more of a personal opinion than anything), the skirt looks a little odd, not really like real fabric.

That is some amazing work you are doing. The bike is a beautiful model and I like how closely you matched the girl.

Silesky, that's some damned good work, and I like the detail on the bike.. just awesome.. I'd join the crit on the dress material, mainly that it appears to be reflecting to much light (spec), I'd also likely put a small amount of SSS or possibly just some transluceny to it.... even thick thick woven materials tend to have a little bit of it.

Other then that great work.

ok, the guy is practically done, I didn't pay too much attention to the legs, since the bike covers most of them, haven't put them together yet... I have some work for this week so I don't know when can I continue with this, so please wait for the next update!
