Default Star Trek - From Drydock to Spacedock

I've been pursuing a project whose ultimate goal is to replace all the recycled TMP footage in Star Trek II. In a perfect world, the departure sequence would take place in Spacedock, but that may not be possible without a sufficiently detailed interior mesh.

I did recently discover Al Denelt's Refit Enterprise. It didn't come with any lighting, and the mesh seems to have suffered somewhat from an OBJ conversion; but Denelt put great care into the interior detailing, so I think it's a terrific mesh for realistic animation.

Here are some concept renders I completed today. Thankfully, overState2007 earlier shared some HD captures of his Spacedock interior. If I do go this route, I won't be able to move the camera until the Enterprise has exited, but even this might be preferable to producing a new sequence in drydock.
