LightWave - Huge/Rocky Asteroid
Im mostly coming for advice on how to get a certain look and feel of my space scene i am working on:
Im trying to create a dark asteroid scene with a little volumetric fog (Which is slowing things down a bit haha)
Anyway this is the feel im trying to go for:

My current issue is two things really, One is creating heavily broken asteroids with a rocky surface, i have a couple of asteroids i knocked up and there more potato shaped then anything else, which doesn't give the feeling of jagged rocks.
I have played around with the model and skewed them to be more pointy but they just fail to give the realistic effect as you can see in these segments.
I've tried most ideas that have floated in my head and turn to you guys to see if someone can help me get back on track with a new direction or approach to this.
If anyone has played the "Broken Moon" map on star citizen you can imagine the kind of cracked planet feeling i'm going for ergo, the types of large rock.
