Default SciFi - interior practice

well here is my attempt at doing some kind of interior its trek related but here is what i got so far im having issues deciding on a design for a railing for the corridor so i thought id get your guys input

I'll be watching this thread, I'm trying to put interiors in my Nova class so this will give me some ideas.

heres a small update added the door section now i gotta decide on the style of door to put in to it

I'd say lose the railing. The ships in Star Trek never had them. Also, when the crew gets thrown into the walls, a railing could cause some serious bruising or cracked ribs.

voyager http://borgdotcom.files.wordpress.co...om-voyager.jpg and next gen had railings in their corridors :P they were alot closer to the walls then mine but mine having that angled wall near the bottom having one close to the wall would be pountless but yeah mine prob would crack a few ribs lol

small update added voyager style doors and the corner section not really satisfied with the lamp fixture on it tho so im probably changing that

The lighting panel you have on the upper curve in the corridor would probably fit quite nicely on the corner piece as well. Give that a try.

did some more work on the corner section its fully enclosed now still need to decide what i am putting in the upper section of the wall the black part on the rest of the walls are screens i dunno if want to continue that on the corners or not also need to figure out a good design for vents on the spine section between the roof lighting

jumped off the corridor work and worked on a small room the armory still need to add a section for small hand phasers the mounts that are there are for a compressed phaser rifle and the small section with the window is the area where people check them out i need to add some seating or somthing there

heres a shot of what i got done in full the room next to the armory is going to be a holodeck shooting range not really sure if this is going to be on a ship or on some kinda planetary base
