Default Star Trek - Discovery Enterprise in Drydock

Playing around some with Chris Kuhn's Enterprise and drydock meshes. I rather like the take on the nacelles, with the curved blades and how the gap between them gives it the nod to classic trek.

The ringed planet in the background comes from Ron's Space Brushes, available over at DAZ and coloured with a gradient. I was really tickled with the way it turned out and hated to put the ship and dock in front of it, lol.

As I usually seem to do, I post before I should. After giving the image time to gel, I wasn't quite satisfied with it, so I tweaked it a bit in post....

Great job. The one thing I don't like about the new Enterprise is the deflector dish. I think it should match the Discovery dish that glows. Did you put the bridge pic from ST 6?

That second pic looks great. What team is playing basketball on the bridge?

I like how this version has lights in place for the registry.

This is a lovely image!

@lonewriter remember, in TOS that was the main communications array, not a deflector dish!

Thanks, everyone.

@lonewriter - yes that's a bridge pic from ST6. Wanted to put one from Pike, but didn'
t think there was a shot that would fit and was too lazy to go look, lol.

@Mikala - Thanks, now that's all I'm going to see when I look at that pic. Judging by the red, it might be the Detroit Pistons?

@Rigel - I'm still not completely sold on the saucer lights, but they're not horrible either. I do like the ones on the engines, I thought they were very well done and work nicely.
