Default Oct-Nov 2015 Resource Appreciation Vote!

First off I want to thank everyone for their submissions! You had an interesting theme and came up with some good ideas.

The Theme was: A game by any other name...
The primary idea behind this is to create a render using the site resources which do one of the following:

1) Mimic the look and feel of an old RPG or wargaming booklet. For the booklet it would be a cover for a game or adventure you'd like to have had a hand in creating.
2) A gaming scene. It might be the actual setting of the game or just a gaming table with a map and a bunch of miniatures.
3) Never played a classic RPG or Wargame before, then create an image from a game you might have liked playing.
4) A scene from an arcarde game you might have enjoyed playing. ( Battle Zone, Star Trek or Xwing arcade games are some good starting points)

You will have three votes and you will need to select the three place before the system will let you click on submit. The poll will be open for fourteen days.

Please keep in mind that the voting is NOT just a popularity vote. Voters are asked to consider:

1) How unique and creative is the idea. Does it stand out as a creative use of the resource?
2) How much the image invokes creativity in you. Does it inspire you to do something more? Something new and different?
3) How well the image is executed. Does it achieve the theme of the contest?
This is done to encourage beginning artists to continue to submit works, as well as seasoned veterans.

Enjoy the images and the voting!

Voted.

I just loved Shaggy's Star Fleet Battles, as someone who played it a long time ago, that's the way it should look.

I think DO's Nexus is under rated so far, the feel and the style, while not looking like great modern CGI, is perfect for the period it represents.

Thanks, I was going more for the recreation of the cover than a modern CGI look.
