Default Babylon 5 - Babylon 5

First serious image with B5 - at a large resolution. I've avoided putting grain and noise onto it for this first image.

Well it is for this picture. The original was quite different as you know. I've no idea where to go with it. I might just do 5 different ones and use them all.

You could use my version if you want.
The model of the station is too awesome to give it a random nebula as background.
http://www.foundation3d.com/index.ph...13_fileid=1117

But I do understand that you want to make it all by yourself. So it is ok if you don't want to use it.
The colours you could use for your nebula are something like this:
#1857c0
#040433
#3c0389
#3c0389

I wonder if I should make a new version. For the TLT version they used real nebula pictures and stuffed them all together. Might look even better that way.

I'm sending Amras a jar with a sticker on it that reads ' I dissed someone's texture '

He can stuff it with money and return it to me

I'm probably going to do a lot of completed images, and I'll just lump them all in this thread as I go along. Nebula and Epsilon changes here.

I'm trying to find the time to finalise it all. Here are a couple more completed shots of her. The ultimate goal is to get it looking ok without radiosity so it will animate well enough. There are a few tweaks in here but not much overall.

H264 is an amazing codec. 65 frames at 1280x720 is only 185kb.

Anyway, this is B5 animated - test seems to have worked. About 2 1/2 mins per frame here.

Another giggle for tonight...

And a longer video at 9 ish seconds. This is looking OK to me.

And a darker image - I'm happy with the framing on this one.

Wow, some amazing looking models and images. Still, it makes me sad hat we will never see this wonderful television series in High Definition.

Just to say, conversion to other packages will probably be quite difficult as far as surfacing goes.

Won't be using it straight away....the Vorlon Vs Shadows Redux battle has my system busy atm.

Big thanks for releasing this though Crook, I'll do it justice when I get around to doing something with it
