Default Media Library Freeware

There are some very good media library software on the internet. If I'm correct, there are only three (at the most) that a person would need to have access to all major media file formats.

I use ComicRack to read documents not using standard formats. PDF, CBR, CBZ, and a few others.
I use MusicBee to listen to almost every known audio format.
I don't have decent library software to sort out/edit the video files I have. I don't trust Winamp, it has become a bit too unstable and can't recognize high quality videos I render.

I've been looking on line for software that can be used to set up a library of videos that would be able to be played within the software. I want software that can be compared to ComicRack and/or MusicBee. I condider ComicRack to be more independent. VLC Media can handle all the video formats I use with not problem but doesn't have a strong library like ComicRack or MusicBee.

MusicBee rocks! I haven't found anything comparable yet. I mainly use it on my laptop as it's a little lighter on the system than iTunes. On the media machine iTunes has the music in the bag, for now anyway . I use VLC for some video playback and XBMC on my media machine to manage my movie collection.
XBMC allows for music library sorting as well as photos and movies. Only thing I've run into with it is it doesn't play nice Apple DRM for movies or music.
