Default Movie & TV Related - Space 1999: Eagle escorts

A new Space 1999 image using the Greywolf Starkiller Eagle and a small shuttle using an unknown moon bus mesh as a base model.

Very nice indeed, great lighting and I like the composition a lot too.

Though judging by the smal Orion left of centre your star backdrop is pretty much the entire 360 sky!

You're absolutely right and I never even spotted Orion till you pointed it out. You really know your night sky.

That's an easy one!

More seriously - if I want to avoid recognisable constellations, I generally flip the image, or go for southern skies... You can also get good results if you copy just the stars, (i.e.e non black bits), and paste more on, for a rich sky without easily recognised constellations.

Beutiful lighting and composotion.

Haven't seen Space 1999 in a VERY long time. May have to go see if I can find it for some a nostalgia session!

Well worth a look. (Season one is the best episodes to start with.)


An update to the image or should I say the Earth space craft. Still to get a paint job.
