I love the way you take a relatively simple model and really make it come to life. Great job!

Another excellent piece for the museum.

The only way to truly finish a Klingon ship is a couple of torpedoes into the reactor core. BOOM! Done.

I mean this in sincere admiration of your skills, but that is looking like one serious rust bucket of a ship!

You just keep chugging away. Great stuff and great endurance. I don't think I've seen many who can stay on task for this long.

I'd like to see a blue-print/schematic line type of that last one.

I have no idea how to do that.

UPDATE...
Just about done with the textures for the head and neck. They both came together much easier this time around. I still have to do the weapons and Iím thinking about redoing the bridge. They came out fine the first time I did them so I donít feel the need to redo them but I might anyway.

Well the title says it all. I knew something was wrong for some time. And now I know what. I’ve been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. That’s why I haven’t been around for some time spent the last ten days in the hospital getting my gut rejiggered. I’m doing ok now and I am home, just some minor discomfort and soreness from surgery. In about a month I’ll be doing 6 months of preventative chemo and that might take me out of the game for a little while more but I will be back.

First of all, sorry to hear about the cancer. Secondly, I'm am overjoyed that you're doing fine!

You just need to do some modelling to take your mind off it.

And the cancer fun continues. Since my WBC booster I’ve started to have pain in my jaw mainly around my lower left molars so I now have to have a dentist take a look at my teeth. Fun.

UPDATE...
I did more work on the minotaur. And made the opening for it’s landing bay.

I also added airlocks and RCS thrusters to the Yorktown.

Good luck with your medical issues, and get well soon. I certainly know what it's like to be in an out of hospital. CGI has always helped me to keep my mind occupied enough though. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks Overseer. CGI has always been a great stress releaver for me.

I’m feeling really good right now. My teeth don’t appear to be a issue. The dentist saw nothing wrong and I feel no pain. So felt I could move on with this ship.
UPDATE...
The final build is done. I need to start on textures now. When I get a chance. After Wednesday I only have 3 more chemo sessions to to do. And I hope that will be end of things. For now.

I can relate to what you mean about it being a good stress reliever i suffer with bipolar and personality disorder and i find cgi work takes my mind off everything thats currently going on in my life and try and keep my mind active and off all the negative thoughts going through my head, i love your work, it does in some ways show how the design of the nx 01 was totally out of par with the rest of star trek, the romulan earth war that was mentioned in several episodes, most notably balance of terror, where there was no view screens and fought with primitive nuclear weapons, these ships you are creating fit that description perfectly and the Daedalus was the perfect step between that era and the original series, look forward to seeing more awesome designs and loving your work >)
