Found my ram timings were all facked up 1066 or something @1.5v vs 1600@1.65v (well 1.64 stupid mobo does like 1.64352 or something then jumps to 1.65672) So far so good but the ssd is still reporting to WEI as a 5.3 vs the old 7.8 I had. So Im irked by that to an extent. Still found no errors, some smart info (done properly with a tool from OCZ) is a bit ehhhh but 2.5 yrs constant on Is accept uptimes are higher than avg.

ANYHOW finished this or rather got to a acceptable stage. Hair and a few things lik e"make up" probably could have rounded it out better. But I just wanted to be done with it.

thanks, here is another I am calling done. I think maybe next I might have a go in 2d at concept-ing my re-re-conni as I have been itching to revise it. But I might just go paint more anime/game crap instead or be REALLY lazy and tv/game/pass out.

Taking a break from abusing the system memory and cpu for some doodling. Been escaping more and more to this than 3d lately. Probably done more that is not here but on my da or on imagebbs backlogs.

Well here she is finished up, had the day today to complete the work on it. I dunno why but the older 21" and not being in my usual space I just could not settle down enough to get any work done on it.

The pattern on the skirt looks like it would have been a bitch to do. Nice work

It is a image of I think origami paper. So I did not draw it per say. Technically I think the pattern on her dress at least at one point was dragonflys.

Bunch of no effort crap from the other day. Just quick things and something I sorta wasted the evening doing until tv distracted me. (the boat pic)

decided to add a few others I didn't upload earlier on.

Not anime this time:
Some where I got the stupid idea of a reboot NX01, dunno why or what for. Maybe it was the idea of taking on a pre tos design without the history and influence of FC etc. That or I just wanted to do a TOS like small ship and have some of these curved forms in my head. I dunno. Either way more I thought about it the more it was like, why. Do we really need a reboot nx01? No, not really. So I dunno where this will go or if it will develop any more than it has here. I even considered contacting Doug to see if he would let me peek at some of the other ideas he had produced if it was possible prior to the akira layout. And develop it based on those ideas as a what if. dunno, I should probably finish off some other projects . HAH. (yes I know of the 2 Eaves images already)

Don't know why we would need one either but perhaps that isn't the point. Lately I've really come to believe that you should do what you like. As for your concepts I really like what you've done with the top one.

Spent most of the day doing yard work the 80f weather made it a 3ft jungle. So, because of that I got little else done this afternoon ffff.
Layout on the bottom right is I think it. I dunno what will go on with the bottom as of yet but the impulse will divide the upper saucer from the lower and those struts will rise from below. So that shuttle bay will consist of the central area of the saucer. I might rethink things in an attempt to find a more centralized power/engine room. ATM it would be a split fusion core with the A/M core elsewhere somewhere forward of the bridge likely then splitting aftwards through the fusion cores for the impulse then to the struts. ehhhhhhhh

And yes fatty nacelles, this is one thing I always thought out of everything that the NX lacked. Old tech = bulk It really shows when you have little models of all the ships in scale that you see how tiny those things really are.

5th iteration of this character went from plain old maid like poses to silly stuff to this which is a meme I guess. I forget the whole pad thing but it is a joke of sorts that she pads her girth. Not sure if it will go any further than this. Hell just the pad idea I ended up with like 6 different poses. all scribbles stuffed behind that purple backdrop. Her face, rather expression I am not final with if it should be reactionary or oblivious. The clothing is all ehhhh as well. The pose is odd to start with and skirts just obliterate the work. Her top probably could use help too. Even considered a underwear version but it wouldn't be as funny. Though memes are oft abused so maybe what funny there would be is lost due to the meme. I dunno HAH

Oh yeah this is for that touhou roll game thing I rolled Sakuya like on the 16th and just now getting around to the image.

the clothes. Still not sure tights/kneesocks(thigh highs) or the little ruffle socks. Always a hard decision with this character. Still unsure about the expression.

oh a bit weird Says babylon5 something or other for this thread in the forum list but open it it says what it should. fffff

Anyhoo where I left that doodle from a few posts back and a

teaser

leaning toward the taller of the two least in layout proportions are up in the air atm.

plans are for some masao like klinkers and maybe some other romulan designs other than that BOT one I did. Dunno how I would represent the roms though The design while cool for ent just was too curvy for me. I also want to do a tosish station like the vanguard that doug had posted up and I think Tobias did. Doubt I would have the patience for the details though on something that large.

One of the things that hurts my head is the size difference between these and a NX. 80 person crew on a 200+ m ship but the Daedalus is 230?! Canon is 105m yeah subs have heavy bunk counts but the difference is wtf. SO with this in mind I might be bumping mine off canon or speculative size (140m) to something like 250m. But I will start with 150m and see where that takes me girth wise in the sphere. I gotta have room fro the bridge and some ideas at the base of the bridge and if those wont fit the ship is going to grow.

I just wasnt feeling it for that one mostly cause there were some issues but some time on it and this is a "refit" lol It still has issues, seemingly I am having problems with deteriorating skills or something feh. Also ignore her groin, I dunno wtf I was doing there. Oft times I wonder if I need more pixels so I can stay zoomed out more on works. I have a bad habit of zooming in and loosing touch with the piece as a whole.

Really wish I could gather the 2500 needed for a cintiq 24" I could probably blet out this crap in hours vs days for the more complex work. But then again I would likely do more complex crap and still spend days fooling with crap.
