That looks really nice.

Are the forearms and hands that smooth or you just haven't got that far yet?

Just seeing if I can get it looking near to the same in Lightwave as ZBrush before I go further.
Going back onto the ZBrush mesh now and getting it all "nastied" up.
Any where there is clothing (gauntlets, loincloth) I'll not waste time giving a going over.

Back in ZBrush as I'm pretty happy with how things are going and think it should look okay in Lightwave once it's done.

Yikes but the 70's were psychodelic too!
Not sure what I did wrong but holy crap did weirdness (in the lighting) abound on this wip render of an Eagle Hangar.

I think I'm seeing a lot of bounce points for the radiosity calculations (the spots of light everywhere). It's a great composition; I hope you get the lighting sorted out.

The last rendering looks great bro! Sureda´s hawk (if my memory serves) don´t had textures applyed. You did your own, or they are just procedurals and colors?

That is already looking very good and I'm sure the final will be spectacular based on what I see now.

Thanks
Hey Starship.
It is a combination of colour, procedurals and cubic and cylindrical mapping.
Have also added some geometry (parts and such) with GSB's blessing.

That's looking very dramatic. It suggests that it is sitting in a repair bay with work lights shining on it so the techs can see what they're doing.

Great work on that critter. Just make sure you keep his cage locked up nice and secure....don't want to find myself in a dark alley with a bunch of them closing in.

Ya no lie.
I think I'll scale them at around 15 ft tall to the top of the head.
So they will be found in alleys
Muahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaah.

After watching "First Men in the Moon" I decided to try building up one of the Selenite scientist bugs.
Had some wings on it but did not like the way they were coming along and scrapped them.
Really saddened at the passing of Mr Harryhausen. One of the shapers of my creative bent.
