UPDATE...
The sword is now in place.

Finished the handle on the sword and started on my first shot at the leather straps on it. I may just do away with them because Iím not happy with them.

Fantasy just seems to be hard to get right.
UPDATE...
Well pretty much done with the sword. I couldnít get the texture just right so I just went with throwing some dirty metal on there and Iím happy with the final result. Iím also starting to like the look of the leather straps on the handle so I will probably finish them up.

Iíve started to work on one of my big speakers.

I was finally able to get a copy of the only Godzilla movie I havenít seen. Godzilla vs Biollante.

UPDATE...
Well I got tired of unwrapping the Powhatan so I thought Iíd go back and do more building.
Iíve been cleaning out my dadís old room so I could move into it so I starting to work on that to see what changes I want to make to it before I do anything.

I started to work on the one table I do plan on keeping because itís one of the few that are in good shape.

I have the sneaking suspicion that I've seen a table like that, somewhere, some time or other. It looks great.

I just realized I did another table that's the same style but without the top half or the drawer.

UPDATE...
Iíve been just to busy with personal matters to get any work done but things are starting to calm down, for now. Started to work on a dresser that Iím gonna keep. Itís a real pain in the ass with all the goofy shapes and I had to go back and forth on this thing to get it right. And my computer might be dieing because even after cleaning the fans a bit it still is kind of slow.

That's one way to say it. I call it a pain in the ass. And I have to do it a few more times.

Thanks.

UPDATE...
Decided to work on the bedroom more so I can get an idea of what I want to do with it. Iíve already pulled up the old carpet and started to put primer on the walls.

Anyway. Hereís more work done on the dresser. I probably wonít work on this more untill I lock down what I want to do with the room.

Iíve found the color of the walls. Itís called Robin Hood Green. I also changed the trim around the floor. Iím also gonna install laminate flooring. I thought about hardwood but laminate is cheaper and looks just as good. Only problem is Iím not sure what direction it should go in. The floor texture is temp for now.

Here is another look with the floor in another direction and I added the second table. My bed will go between the two tables. Iíve already picked out the bed that I would like to have but I wonít get it till the room is finished.

Back to the dresser. The top is just about done. The shapes on this thing is killing me. There is no way I could the complicated handles on this thing so I did up a set of nice simple ones.

That does look good. Any chance we could see a reference photo?

Obviously this dresser came from the "go crazy with the router" age of furniture design.

UPDATE...
As far as Iím concerned the drawer is done. I tried ambiant occlusion again and took at shot at adding chromatic aberation. Iím kinda happy with it even though I didnít really know what I was doing.

And because Rigel over at Foundation 3d asked for a reference picture here it is.

Ooo, yeah; I can see why you used a different handle design!

Overall though, the model looks very close to the real dresser!

Ok getting started on the bottom of the dresser. Thankfully I donít need to do much additional building. Just reuse the parts Iíve already made. The heat over the last few days have been killling me.

UPDATE...
I found a temp bed and lamp online so I can get a better look of how the room will look. Positions and textures are also temp. Trust me, I donít have a white bed with pink covers.

The closet is just about done but I need to work on the light and add access to the attic.
