Default Age of pioneers

This is just stunning, and free to watch online, with English subtitles, (Pay to download, I believe it's a legit site)

Age of Pioneers, the story of Alexei Leonov's mission with the first ever space walk.

https://sovietmoviesonline.com/drama...ya-pervyh.html

The space walk sequences are absolutely stunning, and Alexei was a consultant on the film, so I believe it to be accurate, (particularly having heard him speak of these events in person). Actually the plane sequences are also rather breathtaking, so I suspect it will appeal to aviation nuts as well as space nuts like me.

That was very well done. When it got to the free flight training, it stopped playing. But what I saw was very engrossing, beautifully photographed and the actors were very good.

But would a General in the 1960's have used the phrase "visual effects"? Back then, it was called "special photographic effects" for the most part. But that's a minor thing.

The translation is a bit clunky at times, and not just there.

Yep, it seems to only let you watch in chunks, but if you go to about the middle, you will see the spacewalk nicely!
