While I don't comment much I do appreciate your steadfastness on this. So often people drop off if comments drop. Sometimes we just run out of things to say but that doesn't mean we don't enjoy looking in and seeing how it's going.

It looks like it's been through an asteroid field.

UPDATE...
Added a few little things to the textures like grime.

Here you can see I have a small seam. I fixed a bit of it but there still is more that needs fixing. Right now itís good enough. I may tone things down a bit but I want to get more of the ship done before I decide on that.

It's a wonder it's still flying in service... unless that's why this is the Museum thread

Well it is Klingon. They don't take the greatest care of their stuff. Unless it's sharp.

My pleasure.

It's one of those things that if you don't do it, you forget it.

I quite like what you have to cap them off, and the rest looks good to be blocked out. And like MKF's version, the modelling is peachy, but this has got to be one of the ugliest designs for a starship

Thanks. It's not my favorite ship but I can think of uglier ones.

UPDATE...
Iíve gotten more work done on the engines. I added grid lines that Iím actually happy with and a few other details. Just some minor things to add Reaction Control Thrusters.

The insets on the nacelle end caps look nice and clean. That's some good modelling work right there.

May I suggest using a less hot light on your renders? The hot spots kind of ruin the look of the model.

UPDATE...
More work done on the warp engine. Just some minor stuff to add and itís done. For now.

I added some braces to the neck and warp pylon connection. I just felt it needed a little something.

I am also just about done with the detail on the warp engine. Just need to do some chamfers.

UPDATE...
I finished up the details on the warp engine and added a few more to the warp pylon. I also added a small amount of detail to the upper ball bit including the Nav Deflector. I hate putting it in the ball but itís the only place it works. And I am also thinking about missile placement. I may just rip off MadKiofishís idea because itís the only one that makes sence to me.

Looking good mate, with a nice way to present it too. I know the materials aren't final, so I'll just ask, are you going to brighten up those bussards?

I'll try to brighten the bussards. The darkened because of the AO.

I think the turntable needs two things:

1) the model needs to rotate a lot slower, about half of its current speed and
2) the video needs to be longer to allow a slower rotation.

Right now, it's all too short and fast to get a good look at the model.

Yeah I realized that was a problem when I saw the final render. But it took long enough to do and didn't want to set up another render. I'm still learning.
