UPDATE...
Got more stuff added. I’ve started to place windows on the saucer rim. There’s not enough room for two sets decks of windows but I think I’ll do it anyway just because it looks better.

I also added the shuttle bay and some air locks. I’ll probably get rid of the aft airlock because I don’t like it. And I will increase the size of the secondary hull because the shuttlebay feel a little small.

UPDATE...
The bottom of the saucer is done I think. Finished up some details and added phaser hatches.

I also added phaser hatches to the top of the saucer.

UPDATE...
It’s been awhile but I finally got back to this ship. I am actually feeling good working on this one I think it might be one of my favorite ships that I’ve made.
I had to remake this bit.

I added these two bits to the engine and I think it’s done.

I’ve also started to detail the awacks system.

And just for fun I started on this because I just finished watching DS9 for the millionth time.

UPDATE...
Just a few more windows. I still need to add some to the bottom of the saucer. I’ve yet to move it into mental ray. I think I’ll do that after the modeling is done.

UPDATE...
Started to get some panel lines in. There’s some messy bits on the side I’m not happy with but I’ll figure something out.

When I get those "wrinkles" in a render, I select the affected polygons then inset them 1 or 2 mm. That clears up the wrinkle in the render. However, on curved surfaces, it can change the shape or flatten it out a bit.

In this case, I would select all of the hull polygons inside of the panel lines then use Multi-shift to inset them.

I usually get those when surface smoothing is set too high or if the polygons are non-planar
