Default Software - The Foundry Mari

I'm pretty excited about this. Sounds extremely powerful!
I can't imagine being able to paint such huge amounts of data.

Holy, I did not know about this. Thanks for posting this info. Mari is now on my official to buy list.
I have the Foundrys Nuke on my Mac, and like it all most as much as Shake 4.1 and if Mari is up to Nuke standards then it is a winner for sure.

The article was something in British currency...500 pounds (?) so around $1200 to 1900 dollars. That is just a guess though.

I expect it to be pricey, Pro apps are unfortunately. However The Foundrys apps, Nuke for example, are rock solid and well designed.

One thing i like is that they support the Mac as well, i guess since they do use Macs in house as well as Windows based machines.

In the interview the guy from the Foundry says he is estimating 500 pounds as a starting point price wise.

Yes i just watched the video, very informative and a nice reasonable price-point. I really perked up when i heard them mention that they will soon after NAB be releasing a public Beta.

Sweet, now just have to wait a short while to get a hands on with Mari
