How to assemble these materials in 3dsmax?
Hello. Models from the game EVE Online have been ripped (with the devs blessing) and I was trying to set up some renders. This is a model for a small shuttle:
I added the normal maps like below (ignore the self-illumination one) and set the value from 30 to 100 but am not really sure if it's working.
I also added the pgs.dds material to the exhaust group's self-illumination with Alpha as the only output. It shows up as white. again, not sure if correct.
Some help for a noob?

There's an app named - dds2jpg - available from Easy2Convert Software
obj should open/import to 3dsMax without difficulty

Start a new max session , Import the obj file , goes to Material Editor --> Map/Navigator and see if the maps are attacheds to the model . [ ex.object material (Multi-Sub-Object) ].
Just apply the material to the object.
Any doubt consult material/Map Navigator in Max help.
