Default SciFi - [RA Submission] Pride of the New Commonwealth

And now for something completely different...
My second submission for the challenge.
Andromeda Ascendant by Jason T
Completely resurfaced by me
Lightwave 10
Photoshop PS4

Edit...I diffused the surfaces a bit and toned down the chromage, Re-rendered and re postworkeded the shot. Better?

A lot of detail from the show maybe, but more than the mesh here on F3d.

Haven't seen anything from Andromeda since the last thing I did with that mesh. I agree with Omnipotent, very artzy. But that ship looked its best around the end of season 4 with all the lights on and a full crew.

Wasn't she the pride of the old commonwealth though? lol. the new common wealth were those weird 4 loop ships and the half-rommies that were always getting wtfpwned, heh.

Yea, as the others said, a bit too shiny (Although considering we've seen a black, shiny gold and silver Glorious heritage, polished chrome wouldn't be that much of a leap).

Well I have to admit that there is a gap in my viewing of the series. The podunk backwoods syndication stations here could never find a suitable (or stable) schedule. So there are a lot I missed after the Magog Invasion...up to the end of the 4th season to the end of the series.

As far as the chrome, I have redone it. What do you think?
